The 2021 Bedford Speedway race schedule has been released and is available on the speedway website. A total of 30 races are planned for the new season. The big fairgrounds track, which first featured racing in 1936, will commence on track activity on Saturday afternoon, March 27th with an open test and tune session. The following Friday night, April 2nd, racing action will kick-off with a four division program featuring the Late Models racing for $3,000 to win joined by the Modifieds, Semi Lates and Pure Stocks.
Friday night racing continues throughout the summer, every week until September, with points racing concluding on Labor Day weekend.
As is tradition at Bedford the Super Late Models will headline Friday night racing events. The Late Models will compete weekly this year for a minimum of $2,000 to win regular feature events, part of a purse increase for every race. Holiday special events include the $4,000 to win Turk Burket Tribute on Memorial Day weekend and the $3,000 to win Milt Miller Tribute on July 4th weekend. Also on the schedule is the $8,500 to win “Billy Winn Classic” on April 30th in honor of the speedway’s 85th Anniversary and the $12,000 to win “Labor Day 55” on September 3rd.
