BEDFORD, PA –  The Three State Flyer Series was in Bedford Friday night for the final race of the season, and Jason Covert picked up his third win of the season at the historic speedway.  The win was also his third win of the season in the series.  Matt Sponaugle picked up his second win of the season in the Limited Late Model division, and Bill Henney won his third race of the season in the Street Stocks.  Rick Potter won his first race in the Hobby Stock division since 2002, and Robert Pluta won his first career win at Bedford in the 4 Cylinder division.

In Super Late Model action, Jason Covert thrilled fans in an exciting 35 lap Three State Flyer series main event.  Covert started fourth, and second starting Jeremy Miller took the early lead.  Miller kept a wicked pace, with Chuck Clise, Covert, and JT Spence in tow.  Covert worked his way to second, and it wasn’t long until the front runners caught lapped traffic.  A scary moment happened for second running Covert in turn two when he made contact with a lapped car and suffered some cosmetic damage to the right rear of the car.  The yellow came out for the incident as the lapped car of Keith Killander was disabled for the evening.  When racing resumed, Covert took to the bottom of the speedway and the leader Miller ran the highside.  Within a few laps, the pair once again caught lapped traffic and Covert made a daring move in turn 3 to take the lead with 17 laps to go.  Covert lasted few several late race cautions to take the victory over Miller, Chuck Clise, Jack Pencil from ninth, and JT Spence.  Rounding out the top ten was Jeff Miller, Brian Booze,  Ricky Elliott, Matt Parks, and Derek Byler.  Chuck Clise won the dash, and Clise, Jeremy Miller, and JT Spence won the preliminary heats.

Matt Sponaugle stole the lead from Travis Stickley on the second lap of the Limited Late Model feature, and dominated the entire event.  Rick Singleton started in the eleventh position and battled to the second spot, but there was nothing in the tank for Sponaugle.  Following Sponaugle and Singleton was Mike Altobelli, Jr., DJ Troutman, and Stickley.  Matt Cosner was sixth, and Donnie Farlling, Chris Harr, Tim Smith, Jr., and Matt Howsare completed the top ten.  Sponaugle and Howsare won the heats.

Bill Henney started on the pole for the $1,000 to win Street Stock special, but took the win the hard way.  Dave Brown was the early leader as Henney faded to third behind Donald Wyles.  Henney, driving the absolute highest line on the speedway possible worked his way back into the lead to take the win in a very exciting feature event.  Brian Duffy came home second from his seventh starting position, and Dave Brown was third.  Rich Swope and Greg Hainsey completed the top five.  Sixth through tenth went to Bob Jay, Tom Warren, Paul Gambol, Ernest Goss, Jr., and Jesse Snyder.  Duffy and Daryl Whetstone won the heat events.

Rick Potter led the majority of the Hobby Stock feature before Brian Duffy, driving Travis Group’s number 7, stole the lead with just a few laps to go.  However, Duffy failed a post race tech inspection and Potter was declared the winner.  Bill Replogle, Charlie Walter, Lou Wannyn, and Chad Gambol completed the top five.  Duffy and Reed Stickel won the heats.

Robert Pluta started on the pole and led every lap to take the 4 cylinder season ender.  Andrew Pluta came home second, Casey Fleegle third, Steve Frederick fourth, and Mike Lauffer fifth.  Lauffer and Andrew Pluta won the qualifying heats.

BEDFORD, PA – It was the Bedford/Roaring Knob shootout for Super Late Models at the Bedford Speedway Friday night, and Derek Byler became the first driver to reach three wins this season in the division.  Tim Smith, Jr. earned his first win of the season in the Limited Late Models, and Jim Sayler endured for an emotional Street Stock feature win.  Bill Replogle was victorious in the Hobby Stocks, and Andrew Pluta picked up his third win of the season in the 4 cylinder division.

Rookie sensation Derek Byler started on the pole for the Super Late Model main event, but it was Greg Fetters who took the early lead.  The top six ran in a tight pack side by side, with Fetters on the top, Byler on the bottom, and Jack Pencil, Tyler Hershey, Jeff Rine, and Coleby Frye giving chase.  Byler took the lead late in the race, and tenth starting Frye moved into second with two laps to go.  Frye, who has won every time he’s been to Bedford this year, had to settle for the runner up position this time as Byler took the checkered.  Following Byler and Frye was Fetters, Hershey, and Rine.  Completing the top ten was Jeff Miller, Scott Haus, Chuck Clise, Tom Decker, Jr., and Bryan Bernheisel.  Jack Pencil, who was running in the top five on the last lap, suffered a flat tire and faded to eleventh at the finish.  Hershey and Pencil won the preliminary heats, and Coleby Frye was the Tri-State Racing Photos Hard Charger.

Tim Smith, Jr. has visited victory lane at Bedford in the Limited Late Model division every year atleast once since 2002, but it appeared the streak might be broken – until Friday night.  Smith started on the pole and blasted into the lead.  With a lightning fast pace, Smith held off point leader Rick Singleton to earn his 25th win of this career.  Singleton, DJ Troutman, Matt Sponaugle, and Mike Altobelli, Jr. completed to top five.  Sixth through tenth went to Coleby Frye, Grant Adams, Rance Garlock, Donnie Farlling, and Craig Perigo.  Singleton, Troutman, and Sponaugle won the heats.  Craig Perigo was the Tri State Racing Photos Hard Charger.

It was an emotional win for Street Stock driver Jim Sayler.  Sayler, who picked up his fourth win of the season, was racing with a heavy heart after his father passed away Friday morning.  Unable to speak in victory lane, the grief stricken driver accepted his trophy to a large applause from the Bedford crowd.  The win wasn’t an easy one.  Sayler wrestled the lead away from Jesse Snyder and withstood a late race charge from ninth starting Bill Henney to earn his 21st career victory.  Henney settled for second, Snyder third, and Greg Hainsey and Daryl Whetstone completed the top five.  Heats went to Henney and Cody Buterbaugh, and Henney was the Tri State Racing Photos Hard Charger. 

Bill Replogle won his second Hobby Stock feature of the season, and padded his point lead for next week’s point ending race.  Replogle took the lead from Terry Norris and never looked back.  Norris was second at the checkered, Charlie Walter third, Travis Group fourth, and Rick Potter fifth.  Heats went to Norris and Chad Gambol, Lou Wannyn was the Tri State Racing Photos Hard Charger.

Andrew Pluta, Jr. won an event filled 4 Cylinder feature event.  Juan Reyan brought out the red flag after rolling his ride in turn two, and Jeff Treece suffered heavy damage after crashing on the frontstretch while leading the race.  Following Pluta across the finish line was Casey Fleegle, Phil Best, point leader Paul Crynock, Jr., and Jeremy Miller.  Treece and Fleegle won the heat events, and Crynock, Jr. was the Tri State Racing Photos Hard Charger.

BEDFORD, PA –  The URC Sprint Cars made their historic annual visit to Bedford Speedway Friday night.  The URC Sprints have been making non-consecutive appearances at Bedford since 1956.  Bill Unglert won his first ever URC feature event in front of a large crowd.  Jason Covert won the $2,000 to win Super Late Model feature, Bill Henney won a wild one in the Street Stocks, and Travis Group took the Hobby Stock feature event.  Through disqualification, James Best won his first ever 4 Cylinder feature.

Bill Unglert was ecstatic after winning his first ever URC Sprint race at a track rich in URC history.  Unglert led flag to flag to take the win.  Curt Michael finished second, and also was the Tri State Racing Photos hard charger after starting fifteenth in the feature.  Justin Collett was third, Kevin Nouse fourth, and Becca Anderson fifth.  Unglert, Art Liedl, and Anderson won the qualifying heats.

In Super Late Model action, Jeff Rine led the field to the green for the $2,000 to win Bedford Valley Petroleum feature event.  A three wide battle ensued, with Rine, Jeff Covert, and seventh starting Jeff Miller.  Rine maintained the lead until third starting Covert powered by on lap six, and Miller followed suit.  The top three broke from the pack, as Jack Pencil picked his way through the field.  With 12 to go, Miller made heavy contact with the turn three wall and retired from the race while running second.  Covert took off on the restart, and soon had a half a lap lead on the field.  Rine held the second spot, and Pencil made his way to third.  Covert won by half a lap while weaving through lapped traffic, and Rine finished second with Pencil on his rear bumper.  Scott LeBarron came home fourth, and Derek Byler fifth.  Rounding out the top ten was Nick Dickson, Tyler Hershey, DJ Myers, Gary Stuhler, and Jeff Miller.  Pencil was the Tri State Racing Photos hard chargers.  Byler, Hershey, and Jerry Bard won the qualifying events. 

Bill Henney stole the show in the Street Stock Division, taking the lead with two to go from race long leader Jesse Snyder.  Snyder held the point from the start with Henney in tow.  Henney powered by on the highside with two to go to earn his second win of the season.  Snyder finished second, Brian Duffy third, Daryl Whetstone fourth, and Jim Sayler fifth.  Duffy was the Tri State Racing Photos hard charger.  Sayler and Henney won the heats.

Travis Group won his first ever feature in the Hobby Stock division.  Group battled Chad Gambol for the win as division heavy hitters Charlie Walter and Bill Replogle worked through the field from the back of the pack.  Following Group across the line was Gambol, Walter, Replogle, and Terry Norris.  Charlie Walter was the Tri State Racing Photos hard charger.  Group and Norris won the heat events.

James Best won his first ever 4 Cylinder feature at Bedford, after original race winner Robert Pluta was disqualified in the post race tech.  Mike Lauffer finished second, Ralph Miller third, Casey Fleegle fourth, and Paul Crynock, Jr. fifth.  Robert Pluta and Juan Ryan won the heats.

BEDFORD, PA –  It was the Bedford/Cumberland shootout Friday night at the Bedford Speedway, and Matt Parks made Friday the 13^th lucky by winning the Super Late Model main event.  Robbie Black won his 2^nd feature event in the Limited Late Models, and Jim Sayler took home the checkers in the Street Stocks.  Charlie Walter returned to victory lane in the Hobby Stocks after a rough mid-season stretch and Jeff Treece won his first ever feature at Bedford in the 4 Cylinders.

In Super Late Model action, Matt Parks started on the outside pole and assumed the lead on the first lap.  It wasn’t long until the top five broke free from the pack, with Nick Dickson hounding Parks for the lead, Jack Pencil third, Jeff Rine fourth, and Scott Haus fifth.  With Parks on the top side, and Dickson on the bottom, the pair ran side by side lap after lap.  With five laps to go, the top five caught the tail of the field.  This allowed Pencil to join the top two for a battle for the top spot, but Parks prevailed at the checkered.  Dickson followed closely in second and Pencil third.  Rine and Haus completed the top five, and Derek Byler, Greg Fetters, Jeff Miller, Andy Fries, and Shawn Claar finished out the top ten.  Rine and Parks won the heats.  The feature event went 25 laps without caution.

Friday the 13^th reared its ugly head in the Limited Late Model feature.  Darrell Dick took the lead at the drop of the green and looked to have the race in hand.  Dick dominated for most of the race, but 8^th starting Matt Sponaugle was on the move.  The pair ran side by side for several laps, and then disaster struck with two laps to go.  With Dick on the outside, and Sponaugle on the inside, the pair made significant contact in turn 4.  The result was Darrell’s mount facing the wrong direction, and Sponaugle sent to the rear.  Robbie Black assumed the lead on the restart, and held on for the win over Mike Altobelli, Jr., Tim Smith, Jr., Donnie Farlling, and Matt Howsare.  Sixth through tenth went to Brian Lowery, Andy Teno, Rance Garlock, Rick Singleton, and Matt Cosner.  Heats went to Daniel Cornman, Matt Sponaugle, and Darrel Dick. 

Jim Sayler earned his third feature win of the year in the Street Stocks.  It was a typical grade a style Street Stock Feature, with action all through the pack.  Bill Henney took the lead from his pole starting position, and led until Sayler stole the lead with five to go.  Henney ended the night in second, Brian Duffy third, Jamey Swank fourth, and Daryl Whetstone fifth.  Jesse Snyder, Chris Chamberlain, Kerry Molovich, Zane Weicht, and Cody Buterbaugh completed the top ten.  Sayler and Henney won the heat events.

Jeff Treece earned his first ever win in the 4 cylinders over Andrew Pluta, Jeremy Miller, James Best, and Cindy Rhodes.  Miller and Mike Lauffer won the preliminary heats.

 The URC Sprint Cars will be in town next Friday for their annual visit to the track, continuing a long standing tradition.  The Super Late Models will also be on hand, racing for $2,000 to win.  Also appearing will be the Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and 4 Cylinders.  Gates open at 4:30.  Racing action will start 30 minutes early, with hot laps at 6:15.   General admission is $20, and the pits are $30.  Call the speedway office at 814-623-0500 for more information, or visit www.bedfordspeedway.com for more details.

BEDFORD, PA –  The Bedford Speedway had it’s Koontz/Beamer Memorial Fair race Friday night.  A large crowd was on hand to witness Greg Fetters take his first win of the season in the Super Late Models.  Mike Altobelli, Jr. won his first of the season in the Limited Late Models, and Brian Duffy won his fifth of the season in the Street Stocks.  Also winning their first race of the season was Bill Replogle in the Hobby Stock division, and Karl Bailey in the 4 Cylinders.

 In Super Late Model action, Greg Fetters earned his first victory of the season, and his first win at Bedford in several years.  Fetters started on the pole and immediately took the lead, holding off Andy Anderson and Jack Pencil easily for much of the race.  However, Fetters hit lapped traffic near the end of the race, and the top three were bumper to bumper coming to the checkered.  Fetters held on the for the win over Anderson and Pencil.  Scott Haus and Matt Parks completed the top five.  Sixth through tenth went to Jeff Rine, Steve Everhart, Jeff Miller, Shawn Claar, and Chris Harr.  Heat winners were Everhart and Fetters.

Mike Altobelli, Jr. picked up his first win of the season in Limited Late Model action.  Altobelli took the lead from early race leader Kyle Wiser and battled Robbie Black for much of the race.  Black held on for second, DJ Troutman third, Rick Singleton fourth, and Ashley Barrett fifth.  Rounding out the top ten was Derek Byler, Wiser, Matt Cosner, Tim Smith, Jr., and Rance Garlock.  Heats went to Troutman, Matt Sponaugle, and Black.

Brian Duffy earned his fifth win of the season in the Street Stock division, and he did it from the tenth starting spot.  Bill Henney finished second, and Jim Sayler, Dave Brown, and Jamey Swank completed the top five.  Duffy and Henney won the heats.

Karl Bailey won his first ever Bedford Speedway feature in 4 cylinder action.  Bailey won from his seventh starting spot, and was followed at the checkered by Casey Fleegle, Ralph Miller, Andrew Pluta, Jr., and Paul Crynock, Jr.  Heat winners were Jeff Treece, Bailey, and Pluta, Jr.

BEDFORD, PA –  The Blazer’s Body Shop Super Sportsmen Tour made their annual visit to the Bedford Speedway Friday night, and Jason Fry picked up his first ever victory at the big oval.  Coleby Frye thrilled fans with a daring pass to take his second win of the season in as many visits in the Super Late Models, and Brian Lessley earned his second career Bedford victory in the Limited Late Models.  Brian Duffy earned his fourth win of the season in the Street Stocks, and Andrew Pluta won in the 4 Cylinders.

 Enola, Pa’s Jason Fry started fourth in the the Blazer’s Body Shop Super Sportsmen Tour main event and made a late race pass to take the checkers.  Twenty-one cars took the green, and there was immediate mayhem on the frontstretch.  Several cars piled up, and usual front runner Frankie Herr and Stan Wanner were eliminated from action.  When racing action resumed, Russ Mitten jumped into the lead and held the point position for the majority of the race.  A late race caution bunched the field, and Jason Fry made his move on the restart.  Fry worked past Mitten, as well as third running Rich Eichelberger.  At the finish, it was Fry, Rich Eichelberger, Mitten, Carmen Perigo, Jr., and Mike Enders finished fifth.  Rounding out the top ten was Dave Socks, John Garman, Paul Miller, Duaine Smith, and Ryan Rupp.  Dave Berkheimer and Russ Mitten won the preliminary heats.

In Super Late Model action, Dover, Pa’s Coleby Frye took top honors in exciting fashion.  Jeff Rine and Larry Wright led the field to the green, and Rine snagged the lead on the first lap.  Running the high side, Rine held a slim margin over Jeremy Miller and Coleby Frye.  The top three wasted no time catching lapped traffic, and the trio picked through the back of the field with precision.  With ten to go, Rine, Miller, and Frye were inches apart as they caught a lapped car entering turn three.  Third running Frye made a daring move, splitting the top two and blasting past the lapped car.  Frye ran the cushion, and maintained a several car length lead until the finish.  Miller got by Rine and ended up second, and Jack Pencil and Matt Parks completed the top five.  Sixth through ten went to Shawn Claar, Greg Fetters, Larry Wright, Jeff Miller, and Chuck Clise.  Rine and Miller won the heats.

Brian Duffy took the lead from Dave Brown with two laps to go in a very exciting Street Stock feature.  Brown started first and appeared to have the race in hand as he maintained a 5 car length lead over a mass of cars battling for second.  Duffy, Bob Jay, Bill Henney, Jesse Snyder, and Jim Sayler had fans on their feet for the entire race.  Duffy became the eventual winner, Brown settled for second, Henney third, Jay fourth, and Sayler fifth.  Snyder, Donald Wyles, Daryl Whetstone, Cody Buterbaugh, and Zane Weicht.  Sayler and Brown won the heat events.

Andrew Pluta took the checkers in 4 Cylinder action.  Following Pluta to the line was Juan Reyan, Mike Lauffer, James Best, and Steve Frederick.  Pluta and Lauffer won the heats.

BEDFORD, PA –  The Three State Flyers visited the Bedford Speedway Friday night, and Jason Covert picked up his second career feature win at the historic oval.  In other action, Robbie Black earned the win in the Limited Late Models, Jim Sayler in the Street Stocks, Terry Norris returned to victory lane after a long dry spell, and Juan Ryan earned his first ever victory in the 4 cylinders.

Randy Burkholder led the 27 car field of Super Late Models to the green for the 35 lap main event, and was able to hold the point position for eight laps until Jeff Rine motored by with 27 laps to go.  Jason Covert, who started third, kicked his Rocket chassis into high gear mid race and caught Rine to put on a great two wide show for several laps.  Covert’s bid for the lead was halted twice for cautions, and finally with 13 to go, Covert put his number 43a into the lead coming out of turn two.  A caution with eleven to go grouped the field for a restart, and that’s when things turned sour.  Randy Burkholder suddenly slowed on the frontstretch while running in the top five, and the field stacked up at full speed.  Several top runners were eliminated or sent to the back of the pack.  When racing resumed, it was Covert at the point, JT Spence second, Jeff Rine third, and Jeremy Miller fourth.  The field kept this lineup until lap thirty when JT Spence went pitside, relinquishing the second spot.  Covert took the checkered, followed by Rine, Miller, Nick Dickson, and Brian Bernheisel.  Frankie Plessinger came home sixth, and Andy Haus, Scott LeBarron, Larry Wright, and Brian Booze completed the top ten.  Jack Pencil, Rine, and Dickson won the heat events, and Rine won the dash for cash.

In Limited Late Model action, Robbie Black returned to victory lane after missing a season of racing last year.  Pole setter Rance Garlock took the lead at the drop of the green, and held the point until lap nine when ninth starting Matt Sponaugle worked his way into the lead.  Sponaugle held the point for two laps, but went pitside during a caution.  Garlock resumed the lead, but Black made a daring move in turn three with 6 laps to go to take the lead and the win.  Garlock settled for second, Daniel Cornman third, Matt Howsare fourth, and Rick Singleton fifth.  Completing the top ten was Grant Adams, Donnie Farlling, Corey Weaver, Travis Calhoun, and Eddie Cornett.  Justin Kann and Daniel Cornman won the heats.

Jim Sayler continued his hot streak in the ultra competitive Street Stock division.  Sayler started in the fifth position past race leader Dave Brown for the win.  Brown finished second, Bob Jay third, Daryl Whetstone fourth, and Brian Duffy fifth.  Heat winners were Bill Henney and Duffy.

Terry Norris won a well earned victory in Hobby Stock action, holding off the division’s point leader Charlie Walter for a big win.  Following Norris at the checkered was Walter, Bill Replogle, David Riley, and Reed Stickel, Jr.  Norris and Replogle won the heats events.

Juan Ryan earned his first ever victory in 4 cylinders by a large margin.  Robert Pluta, Paul Crynock, Jr., Paul Crynock III, and Cindy Rhodes completed the top five.  Heats went to Dave Lambert, Cindy Rhodes, and Juan Ryan.

BEDFORD, PA –  Bedford Speedway hosted the 2nd night of the Pennsylvania Posse Speedweek for sprint cars on Sunday night.  Western PA driver Ed Lynch, Jr. won his career first at Bedford in the 30 lap main event over a stellar field of sprint car drivers.  The super late models were also on the card, and Jack Pencil made his first win of the season a memorable one when he took the lead 100 yards from the checkered. 

Time trials kicked the evening’s events off for the sprint cars.  Brian Leppo set fast time with a 16.796 second lap, just off Stevie Smith’s track record of 15.597 set last year.  Greg Hodnett, Chad Layton, and Stevie Smith won the heat races, and the 23 car field was set for the 30 lap A-main.  Ed Lynch, Jr. started on the pole and took the early lead, with Alan Krimes, Greg Hodnett, Fred Rahmer, and Mark Smith following.  The front pack hit lapped traffic by lap six, and Krimes and Hodnett started to real in the leader.  Their charge for the front was halted on a lap 11 caution for Lance Dewease, and Lynch was able to extend his lead once again after the restart.  Rahmer and Mark Smith were the main attraction in the second half of the race, as the pair sliced and diced each other in a hard fought battle for fourth.  Krimes and Hodnett again started to reel in the leader, but the last caution of the race for Doug Esh and Brent Marks put a halt on their charge.  It was all Ed Lynch, Jr. on the restart, who went on to win by a comfortable margin over Krimes, Hodnett, Rahmer, and Mark Smith.  Completing the top ten was Daryn Pittman, Aaron Ott, Chad Layton, Adam Wilt, and Stevie Smith.

Derek Byler started on the outside of the first row in the super late model feature, and battled pole sitter Scott Haus for much of the early part of the race.  Byler was able to maintain the lead all throughout his battle with Haus, and eventually Haus started to lose touch with Byler’s number 5*.  Jack Pencil worked his way by Haus for second, and it appeared that Byler had the field covered for his third win of the season.  However, with six laps to go, Pencil had reeled in the leader and was making a bid for the win.  Pencil ran the very top line of the speedway, and had several close encounters with taking the lead from Byler.  Finally, on the last lap in the last turn, Pencil flew by Byler on the outside coming down the frontstretch and stole the checkers.  It was Jack’s 26th career win at Bedford in the super late models.  Byler settled for second, Haus third, Jeff Miller fourth, and Chuck Clise fifth.  Tom Eriksen, a Bedford regular and fan favorite from a few decades ago was sixth, and Jerry Bard, Scott Rhodes, TJ Wright, and Randy Burkholder rounded out the top ten.  Miller and Bard won the heat events.

BEDFORD, PA – With summer approaching next week the racing action is getting hot at the speedway. Fans enjoyed an action packed night with Scott Haus winning his first feature of the year in the late models here at Bedford, closely followed by the “flying school teacher” Jack Pencil. Rick Singleton, of Hunnington Pa., took the checkered flag in the limited late models with a commanding lead over Matt Sponaule, and Brian Duffy returned to victory lane in the street stocks with a impressive victory over Dave Brown, Bill Henney, and Mike Desch.  Two previous track champions, as well as previous feature winners, won features in their respective divisions, Charlie Walter in the Hobby Stocks and Mike Lauffer in the 4-Cylinders.

Four time track champion Scott Haus was lucky at the pill re-draw and started on the pole and never looked back leading all 25 laps of the the Late Model Feature. Jack Pencil started working his way up thru the field and caught Haus but was unable to challenge him for the win. Meanwhile battling for the third and fourth positions were Jeff Rine and D.J. Myers and when the checkered flag dropped it was Rine in third and Myers fourth. Finishing a sound fifth was Jeff Miller. Brian Booze, Scott Rhodes, Mike Altobelli Jr., Randy Burkholder, and Derek Byler rounded out the top ten. Eighteen LM were signed in at the speedway and Haus and Myers crossed the line first to win their heat events.

Once again, due to the luck of the pill re-draw Rick Singleton was sitting on the pole and at the drop of the green flag he took off and never looked back. Matt Sponaugle starting fourth made several attempts on restarts to catch Singleton but just couldn’t get the job done and had to settle for second. The end of the race seen Rance Garlock, Tim Smith Jr. and Brian Lesley all fighting for  the third position with Garlock grabbing third from Smith with four laps to go. Smith and Lesley finished fourth and fifth respectively. Rounding out the top ten were Matt Howsare, Mike Duck, Grant Adams, Craig Perigo, and Donnie Farlling. Heat winners for the evening were Singleton and Darrell Dick.

The street stock feature got off to a wild start with three cars getting together Jerry Robinson, Rich Swope and Zane Weicht and  Weicht getting the upside down end of it.  When the field realigned for a complete restart Khi Swanger, Mike Desch, and Brian Duffy  were battling three wide down the back stretch. On lap nine Duffy took the lead from Swanger and the rest was history. Following Duffy to the checkered was Dave Brown, Bill Henney, Desch, and Darrell Whetstone. Finishing out the top ten were Swanger, Kerry Molovich, Jim Saylor, Travis Brown and Donald Wyles. Heat wins went to Bill Henney and Dave Brown

Charlie Walter was once again in victory lane after starting 9^th and gradually working the field to the finish. Following Walters and racing hard for several positions were Bill Replogle, Tyler Ritchey, Travis Group, and Todd Goss and they finished in that very order.  Heat wins for the night went to the Lou Wannian and Charlie Walter.

In four cylinder action tonight it was Mike Lauffer getting the win by default as the winner Ian Will was disqualified after going thru tech inspection. On lap five Paul Crynock was going for the lead and got out of shape and had to rejoin the field in eleventh place. Finishing after Lauffer was Andrew Pluta, Jeremy Miller, Steve Frederick, and Cindy Rhodes.  Heat wins went to Cindy Rhodes and Lauffer.
