For the 2017 racing season MyLaps (red) transponders will be mandatory for the Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Modifieds, as well as 410 and 360 Sprint Cars for every race at Bedford. Drivers may either purchase a transponder directly from MyLaps or they may rent one each night at the speedway. If drivers who do not wish to purchase a transponder prefer to rent one from the track the rental cost will be $10 per night and will be deducted from that evening’s payout.
With the usage of the transponder system, drivers and fans will now have access to live timing and scoring information. All results will be uploaded to the internet for access to the complete timing and scoring rundown of every event.
The MyLaps system is the same that is used at many other tracks and series so drivers will be able to use their Red Transponder as they travel to other tracks in the region. Any additional questions please contact the speedway office.
