After yet another 2025 Friday rainout, Bedford Speedway management was able to schedule and use a rare rain date Sunday night. Headlining the winners were Lane Snook in the Limited event and Josh Spicer in the 305 feature. Spike Moore was able to continue the list of winners with an initial S in his name as he dominated the EMod event In other action Kyle Deneen won out in a hard fought Semi Late event and Byler Aikey scored his first ever feature win in the Crown Vic show closer.
Lane Snook started the Limited event in eighth and started his slow trek forward from the start. Gunner Walls was the early leader but Devin Weyandt was all over him from the start. Lap after lap Weyandt tried to make the pass for lead but Walls held on.
Finally on lap 8, Weyandt squeezed by to take the lead. Snook also got by a half lap later. moving into second. Weyandt didnt have much time to enjoy his life at the front as Snook moved in to challenge him fiercely.
Snook, with his car getting faster as the laps wound down, made the successful move on Weyandt as they completed lap 13 and then ran off from the field. In the waning laps, Weyandt found himself under fire from a charging Kyle Hardy. As Snook took the win, Weyandt held off Hardy to take second as Taylor Farlling and Keith Walls completed the top 5. Farlling and Kyle Lear won the heats.
Unlike Snook. Josh Spicer had a Sunday drive in the 305 event. He started on the pole, took the lead at the start and never looked back in the 20 lap event which went straight through without a caution. Dylan Shatzer moved into second but watched as Spicer pulled away with each passing lap. Late race lapped traffic proved no problem as Spicer raced off for the easy win.
Shatzer held on for second, his best ever Bedford score, followed by Ken Duke, Tim Bittner and Kolby Weaver. 17 of the 18 feature starters were around at the finish of the cleanly run event. Duke and Spicer won the heats.
Several time 2025 feature winner Rick Potter looked as if he would make the Semi Late event a cake walk early. He boomed from 6th place starting spot to take the lead from Greg Hainsey on lap two. Although the race was slowed repeatedly by caution periods, Potter zoomed away on every restart.
Potter’s party ended on lap 7 as his car faltered on the backstretch, bringing out yet another caution, and handing the lead back to Hainsey. But Hainsey had been holding off a mob while running second and that mob remained intact on the restart. In the excitement, Kyle Deneen squeezed by for the lead as Dave Brown got beside Hainsey for second and the whole mob wrestled. On lap 13 Hainsey and Dalton Weyant, running third and fourth, tangled, with Hainsey going around and Weyant heading to the pits.
On the final two lap run to the end, Brown was all over Deneen but fell short, taking second, ahead of Kyle Weyant, Spike Moore and John Miller. Ryan Sager and Travis Calhoun won the heats.
Spike Moore, doing double duty, devastated the EMod field. He shot from 4th to take the lead from Beau Aikey on lap 2, and never looked back. George Dixon grabbed second on lap 7 but without the aid of a caution never closed on Moore who won going away. Brandon Hoover, TJ Dehaven and Aikey trailed the top two. Dehaven and Moore won the heats.
Travis Vogel led the first few Crown Vic laps before Raymond Moore got by. But when Moore’s car got sick with two laps to go, Byler Ailey shot by to claim the win.
