The 2014 racing season officially kicks off on Sunday morning April 6th with the annual car show at the Jordan Hall Exhibition Center, located on the midway at the Fairgrounds. As in previous years it will be held in conjunction with the Bedford County Home Show. Immediately following the car show there will be an on track Test and Tune session, open to all competitors.

Opening Day will be the following Sunday, April 13th, with Fast Friday Night racing commencing the following Friday. Friday night racing will continue every week until September, with the occasional Saturday and Sunday shows also on the schedule. The season will conclude with the annual Bedford Fall Fest at the end of September.

Friday night May 4th will be the first visit of the Three State Flyers Late Model Series for a 35 lap- $4000 to win main event.  As is tradition each summer holiday will also feature a special Late Model event. These include Friday May 23rd  for the “Johnny Grum Tribute” and Thursday July 3rd for the “Milt Miller Tribute”. Both of these events will be 35 laps with the winner taking home $4000. The final Three State Flyers appearance of the season will be the 27th Annual “Labor Day Classic”, on Friday night, August 29th with the Late Models competing in a 55 lap, $5055 to win event. In addition, the Appalachian Mountain Late Model Series will visit on Sunday evening, June 1st, as a part of that annual tour.

Bedford fans can also look forward to the return of the special $5.00 admission appreciation night in August with a full slate of racing as well as fireworks on the agenda. The schedule includes a variety of special events for the Bedford support divisions, rewarding them for their fantastic support. There are also open wheel visits planned by the URC sprints, ARDC midgets and Laurel Highlands 305 Sprint Series, with the possibility for the PA Posse 410 Sprints to be added at a later date.

The next event on the Bedford schedule will be the Annual Awards Banquet, honoring our racers for a fantastic race season.
