Emotional Win for Local Team

Drake Troutman picked up the win on night two of the DJ Troutman Memorial Race. Troutman originally started 8th and fought his way up to the front of the pack as the laps wore down. He then battled to get by race leader David Stremme for several laps, finally sliding by when it mattered most on the last lap to take the checkered flag. Stremme finished second in Friday night’s feature event behind victor Logan Roberson. Stremme managed to lead most of the 29-lap event on Saturday with Troutman and Roberson battling for second and third behind him as he weaved in and out of lapped traffic during the second half of the event.

Braydale Bauman picked up another win in the Pure Stock division. Charlie Clise also added another win to his growing list in the Crown Vic division.
