The Bedford Speedway proves yet again that not even a looming Nor’easter on the horizon can keep them from racing. The Speedway wrapped up its 2026 season on Saturday with Night Two of the 9th annual Keystone Cup. The event featured a 55 lap, $20,000 to win Late Model feature as well as 15 lap feature events for the Pure Stock and Crown Vic divisions. Gregg Satterlee had an outstanding performance in the Late Model event leading to him parking it in victory lane for the second time in 2026 at the track. Satterlee won the Keystone Cup in 2020 and now gets to join Jeff Rine in being the only two drivers to have repeat Keystone Cup victories.
Satterlee may have made it look easy, but the odds were not in his favor. Despite starting up front, he had a stacked field of drivers surrounding him, many having proven to be well acquainted with the track. Mason Zeigler, with 2 big 2026 track wins, picked up the fastest lap in qualifying and started 5th in the feature. Trever Feathers, the 2026 track champion, started 6th in the feature. Both Zeigler and Feathers picked their way through the field to catch up to Satterlee who took the lead early on. It didn’t take long for Satterlee to catch the end of the field and have to begin navigating lapped traffic while keeping his competition at bay behind him. The laps counted down and Zeigler had found his way to second place but every time he got close to Satterlee it seemed he also had to fend off advances from Feathers. At five laps to go Zeigler was within striking distance of Satterlee but still couldn’t get a good shot at passing. Then with two laps to go Feathers had Zeigler passed for a moment in turn 2 but it wasn’t enough to last. The threesome kept up the dance until the last second as Satterlee powered through turn four and took the checkered flag.
In the Pure Stock division Shawn Wyles, who won the first Pure Stock race of the 2026 season, picked up his second victory of the year. Charlie Clise won the Crown Vic event making this his 4th Crown Vic win for 2026 at the speedway.
