Kids Night at the Bedford Speedway was full of candy, car rides, and fast Friday racing action. Kyle Lear picked up his second 2026 win in the Late Model Sportsman division. Cody Jarvie won the Semi Late feature, Dominic Weyandt won the Pure Stock Feature, and Jason Diehl won the 4-Cylinder feature.
The Late Model Sportsman took to the track, and Spike Moore took off as soon as the green was thrown. Keith Walls and Kaiden Bard did their best to give chase close behind. An early caution reset the group putting Walls and Bard back in range to track down Moore, little did they know their competitor Kyle Lear was making his way forward from his 7th starting position. By lap 5 Lear was already starting to challenge Devin Weyandt for fourth. Once Weyandt was finally in his rearview mirror, Lear set his sights on Kaiden Bard’s third place spot. It took two laps for Lear to rise to second where he could begin the daunting task of running down Spike Moore who had been flying around the speedway. Moore’s victory wasn’t meant to be as a flat tire caused his night to end prematurely by lap 14. Kyle Lear took no chances tangling with Walls and Bard again and he set out to secure his lead with the remaining laps. Lear was followed across the finish line by Kaiden Bard, Devin Weyandt, Keith Walls, and Gunnar Walls.

Cody Jarvie picked up his first 2026 victory in the Semi Late division. Jarvie found himself out front early on, but he still had to fight off many challengers throughout the event. Garrett Keifer stayed on his heels waiting for Jarvie to give him an opening. With 5 to go Keifer started to turn up the heat on Jarvie, but it proved not to be enough. A late caution allowed Kyle Weyant, who had worked his way to third from his 10th starting position; to throw his hat in the ring but Cody Jarvie could not be contained. Jarvie was followed across the finish line by Garrett Keifer, Kyle Weyant, Chubby Childers, and Kyle Deneen.

Dominic Weyandt took the Pure Stock lead at the start and ran unhindered as the rest of the field fought for position behind him. Kyle Becket and Denver Dishong kept Weyandt in their sights but couldn’t find a lane to pass. All the while Chubby Childers had been strategically overtaking the field moving from his 8th place starting spot up to join the front of the pack. A caution came out with two to go and Chubby mashed the gas, managing to overtake Dishong and Beckett in two laps. He crowded Weyandt but ran out of time before the checkered flag flew. Dominic Weyandt crossed the finish line followed by Chubby Childers, Kyle Beckett, Denver Dishong and Madison Miller.

In the 4-Cylinder event Brad Marker and Jason Diehl traded positions at the front with Marker taking the lead early on and holding tight. Jason Diehl ultimately emerged victorious and was able to park it on the stage for victory lane. The top five was completed by Diehl, Isaac Kormanski, Tom Brady, Todd Price and David Moore.
