Racing doubleheader this weekend…..

Bedford will be in racing action on both Friday and Sunday night this weekend.
Coming Friday night August 15th, will be the second running of the Muss Weyant Memorial Race for Semi Lates. This special event will be 35 laps and pay $1200.00 to the winner. Joining the Semi Lates on this special night will be the Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders. General admission will be $12, kids 12 and under free and pit admission will be $25. 
We would like to thank the Weyant family for gathering the support of several local businesses to put up an increased purse for this event. The purse for every position will be increased thanks to these generous supporters: BSL Race Graphics, Lashley’s Garage, Dean’s Tires, Walters Auto Wrecking, Sacco Auto Wrecking, Ken Imler Machine Shop, SAC Inc, Thomas Chevrolet, Bubba Pizza and Subs, H. Fred Barefoot Trucking, Ritchey Sandblasting, Logan Valley Chiropractic, Rec Oil, George Beckett and Sons Contracting, The hard charger will receive $50 courtesy of Preston Dietz, and the leader on lap 5 will also receive $50.

Sunday nights racing card will include the speedways first Ladies Night. With all women receiving free general admission in the grandstands. The Laurel Highlands Racesaver 305 Sprints will be in action, joined by the Modfieds, racing 20 laps, Late Model Sportsman, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders. Also on tap will be the always fun kids bicycle races on the track. 

Sunday general admission will be $10, kids 12 and under are free and pit admission is $25. Gates open an hour earlier on Sunday at 4, with warmups at 7 and racing at 7:30.
