The Bedford Speedway 2015 racing season is nearly here. On track activity begins Saturday March 28th with the first of two practice sessions. Any racer is welcome to bring their car out for track time. Practice begins at 3:00 with pit gates opening at 2:00. Admission to the pits is $20, and the grandstands will be open with free admission to fans.
Following a second practice on Saturday April 4th, the 79th season of racing at the Bedford Speedway will officially commence on Friday night, April 10th with Friday night racing. In action opening day will be a full racing program for the Late Models, Late Model Sportsman, Semi Lates, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders.
Sunday April 12th the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce will again present the annual car show for all racers as well as classics and street rods. The car show begins at noon at Jordan Hall, located inside the main gate of the Bedford Fairgrounds. As in years past, the show is a part of the annual Bedford County Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show. All are welcome; this show is a great opportunity to show off your new cars at the beginning of the season.
The following weekend will feature the first doubleheader of the Bedford season. Friday night will see a Fast Friday show highlighted by the Late Models. Sunday April 19th is the first of two visits by the All Star Circuit of Champions 410 Sprint Cars. The recently revitalized All Star Series will begin their PA tour with a $5000 to win show that should attract the best 410 drivers from the region to Bedford.
