Bedford Upcoming Events…

April 23rd, 2017

This weekend, Bedford will partner with our friends at Hagerstown for a mini shootout series for the Late Models and Late Model Sportsman this weekend. The top three drivers in points after Friday night’s show at Bedford and Saturday nights show at Hagerstown will each receive a point’s payoff.

Racing action will continue on Sunday, April 30th, with the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars making their first of two 2017 visits to Bedford. Bedford will be the final stop of the All- Stars first Pennsylvania swing of the year, following stops at Williams Grove on Friday and Port Royal on Sunday.

In the All- Stars most recent visit to Bedford last season it was Chad Kenemah parking it on the historic Bedford stage to take his first career Bedford win. A fantastic field of 42 Sprint Cars was on hand that night, with the top drivers from the whole region on hand. While Kenemah went on to claim the 2016 All-Star Championship, Bedford would be his only win on the tour last year.

The following Friday night, May 5th the track will celebrate the Cinco de Mayo holiday with a $5 admission special. All fans will be admitted to the grandstands for only $5, with kids 12 and under free. Competing in racing action that night will be the Late Models, the Modifieds running 25 laps for $800 to win, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders.

Friday night racing action continues each Friday night through the summer, with something special going on every week.

The first Late Model major event of the season will be the annual Johnny Grum Tribute on Friday May 26th. A 40 lap, $4000 to win show is planned for the Late Models, with the Modifieds, Semi Lates and Four Cylinders also racing.

A new addition to the schedule on Saturday night, June 10th will be the first Race & Rock Night. Two divisions of racing will be joined by four bands on the historic Bedford stage for only $8.00 adult admission. Racing that night will be a full program for the Pure Stocks & Four Cylinders. Following their features we invite everyone to come down to the frontstretch for the music. Playing on the stage that night will be Seize Fire, Chrome Hearts, Star Sixty-Nine & Karma Works. Warmups for PS & 4C will be at 6pm, followed by heats and a 15 lap PS feature and a 15 lap 4C feature. At 7:30 the music on the stage will begin, with the concert lasting until approximately 11pm. The PS & 4C will be racing in non-points events for an increased purse.
