Brad McGinnis scored a first ever Bedford feature win as he took the Mason Dixon Limited event at the track Sunday night in dominating fashion.  Equally dominating but not a first was Drew Ritchey, who won the companion 305 event.  Ritchey is the Bedford leading feature winner among various limited sprint car events.  Josh Frankenberry went flag to flag to score the Charlie Walter Memorial event in Pure Stock action, before Dustin  Kinser took the 4 Cylinder finale, his first win in five seasons.

McGinnis got by pole sitter Devin Hart to lead the first Mason Dixon lap, and  held off Hart through several early chaotic caution periods.  Justin Weaver was charging through the pack though, finally showing up in second place on lap six.   He was all over McGinnis for several laps but failed to get by.

As Weaver harrassed the leader, Shawn Jones was coming from deeper in the field and arrived in third place on lap 7.  Jones and Weaver battled for second for quite a few laps until Jones got by for the spot on lap 17.

Jones made the effort over the last eight laps, but McGinnis pulled off the big win.  Jones, Weaver Hart and Brian Shuey completed the top five.  Shuey, James Lichliter and Weaver won the heats.

Drew Ritchey was blessed at drawing the pole for the 305 event and made the best of his luck.  He shot into the lead at the start and controlled the event without challenge.  Nicole Walker chased Ritchey to the finish of the event, which saw only one caution on lap nine.  Ron Aurand finished third, holding off a late race charge from Scott Lutz.  Jonathan Jones completed the top five.  Aurand and Jones won the heats

The Walter Memorial 42 lapper is the biggest event of the year for the Pure Stocks.   The two fastest cars in recent action, Josh Frankenberry and Kyle Weyandt drew front row starts and ran one two, with Frankenberry ahead,  the entire event.

Behind the leaders. the crowd grew and the battle from third on back went on from start to finish.  Several late race yellows closed the field but Frankenberry beat Weyandt to the finish line.   Dalton Ritchey trailed in third as Nick Bechtell completed a run from 12th to fourth with a last lap pass.  Shawn Shoemaker was fifth.  Ritchey and Eric Weyandt won the heats.

Dustin Kinser who has been close recently finally scored a second career 4 Cylinder event win.   He led the field ahead of Steve Frederick, Todd Price and Rusty Martin, both of whom had started in the last row, and Bill Shehan.

Gene Wrightstone won the Vintage event after a race long battle with Scott Rickrode.  Rickrode spun on the last lap, allowing Randy Minich and Paul Bacchus to chase Wrightstone across the line.Brian Gagliaro won the heat.
