Bedford Final Points Weekend

August 29th, 2021

This Labor Day weekend Bedford Speedway returns to racing action with a busy two race doubleheader.

Friday night, September 3rd, is the annual running of the Labor Day 55 for the Late Models. The ULMS Late Model Series will be sanctioning the event, with the Late Models joined by the Modifieds on the evening’s program. The Late Model 55 lap feature will pay $12,000 to win, and the Modified 25 lap feature will pay $1000 to win.

The second race of the busy weekend will be on Sunday night September 5th. The Late Model Sportsman will be racing 25 laps for $1000 to win, joined by the Semi Lates, Pure Stocks, Four Cylinders and the Penn Mar Vintage Cars. The makeup features rained out on August 13th for the Late Model Sportsman and Four Cylinders will also take place that night. As qualifying was completed on August 13th before the rain hit the lineups for those features were set. Sunday action will begin with warmups for each division, then go into the two makeup features, with the regularly scheduled program following.

As always, the Labor Day weekend races will be the final point’s race of the season for all our Bedford divisions.

For the Labor Day 55, the Late Models will be using the ULMS series format and procedures.
