Bedford Speedway celebrated another milestone Friday night wrapping up the 152nd Bedford County Fair. On Gary Martz Memorial Night, beneath the glow of the rides on the midway and surrounded by the smell of cinnamon buns and hot sausages wafting down from the stands, Jeff Rine took center stage bringing home a Late Model victory sweeter than fresh funnel cake at the historic track. Sharing the stage with him Friday night was Ryan Sager with a Semi Late victory, Charlie Clise with a Pure Stock victory, and Colin Welsh with a 4-Cylinder victory.
A full field of Late Models took the green as the feature got underway. From the drop Rine set a relentless pace as he attempted to open a gap over the field. Jeff Miller worked to stay on top of him but began falling off halfway through and was overtaken by Trever Feathers by lap 13. Feathers, originally having started 6th, was on a mission to overtake Rine. By halfway Rine was navigating his way through lapped traffic with Feathers right beside him as they both undertook a new race against the back of the pack. Rine took the checkered flag with Feathers just a breath behind him coming down the front stretch. Following Rine and Feathers across the line was JT Spence, Matt Cosner, and Shawn Shoemaker.

The Semi Late feature started with John Miller and Chubby Childers out front. Things changed quickly as Miller dropped back and Childers thought he could run away with the lead until Childers had a brush with the wall and succumbed to Ryan Sager. Sager had surged his way up from his 6th place starting spot within only three laps, he took advantage of Childers misstep and held on to the lead. A late caution was called, and the feature went to a green-white-checkered, Childers and Miller saw another chance to catch up with Sager as the green dropped but it wasn’t meant to be. Sager jumped out to another lead and took the checkered flag. Sager was followed by Chubby Childers, John Miller, Kyle Weyant, and Cody Jarvie.

Charlie Clise earned his third Pure Stock win Friday night. Clise started 7th and knew he had his work cut out for him to get to the front. Derek Long took the lead after the green flew but Jay Talley and Charlie Clise stayed by his side down the back stretch and through the turns until Talley emerged victorious. A flat tire in the middle of the pack caused an early caution and Talley was set to lead as the field got going once more. Talley’s moment was cut short as Clise passed him on the back stretch to take first. Clise saw the open road and didn’t look back. Clise was followed across the finish line by Jay Talley, Shawn Wyles, Braydale Bauman, and Kyle Beckett.

Colin Welsh picked up his first 2026 4-Cylinder win Friday. Welsh pulled out to an early lead but spent the remainer of the race fighting off challenges from Isaac Kormanski and Josh Corbin. Welsh was followed across the line by Isaac Kormanski, Josh Corbin, Tom Brady, and Ethan Strait.
