Once again the Bedford Speedway had to dance around poor weather predictions but this time succeeded. The event was the annual fan appreciation $2 night and the happy winners were Ryan Sager (Semi Lates), Mike Altobelli (EMods), Isaac Kormanski (4 Cylinders) and Quinton Beeman (Crown Vics).
Ryan Sager started on the front row of the Semi Late event and grabbed the lead at the start. As the event became a cautionfest with 11 slowdowns, Sager scooted away on every restart.
As Sager led, the mod wrestled for the honor of chasing him as five drivers battled hard for second place. Travis Calhoun, Garrett Keifer and a hard charging Rick Potter among others ran in a pack changing positions on almost every lap
Keifer secured second eventually and broke free to chase the leader as things calmed down in the later laps but a mechanical issue and spin on lap 11 ended his chances . That put Kyle Weyandt in second but he also had issues and Dalton Weyandt showed in that spot and over the last 4 laps he made a serious charge at the leader,
Using the way outside groove Weyant gave Sager a challenge but fell short at the line as Sager took the narrow win. Brian Weyandt J, Calhoun and Cody Jarvie completed the top 5 Jarvie came from 17 in the field to advance to the lead group. Heats were won by Sager and Potter.
Former champion and chronic winner Mike Altobelli J made a rare 2025 EMod start and easily prevailed in that event. Brandon Inglish was the early leader as Altobelli and George Dixon battled traffic and themselves on their way to the front.
Tension mounted as they both caught Inglish on lap 5 but it ended wildly. As Altobelli charged to the lead around Inglish, Inglish overshot turn 1 and brushed the wall. Dixon, immediately behind Inglish also hit the wall but much harder, ending his day.
On the restart and free of Dixon, Altobelli ran off from everyone, winning by almost a half lap. Inglish posted his best ever Bedford finish at second, followed by Bryce Broadwater and Brandon Hoover. Hoover won the single heat event.
Isaac Kormanski took the 4 Cylinder lead at the start but was instantly hounded by Wayne Brenize. The pair ran off from the crowd as Brenize, aiming to become the class career win leader tried seriously to get by. Kormanski, who was able to hold off every Brenize challenge all those laps was unaware but his job got easier on the last lap as Brenize retired with car trouble.
At the finish it was Kormanski, Tyler Beckett, Tom Brady and Todd Price. Colin Welsh and Brady won the heats.
Quinton Beeman took the lead from pole sitter Josh Ringer on lap 6 and went on to win the Crown Vic closer. He was followed by Raymond Moore, Byler Aikey, Jonathan Barron and Brady Chabol. Ringer and Kainen Brown won the heats.
