Pit Parking Changes

March 28th, 2018

For 2018 a new pit area has been constructed outside turn four for use by Late Models & Late Model Sportsman drivers. Due to their increasingly tall trailers blocking the view of the fans, they will be moved outside the track. All other divisions will continue to be parked in the infield. This will allow for better sightlines of the track by fans, as well as making the infield less congested and safer for racers.

When entering the speedway, all pit traffic will stop at the pit booth as usual, outside of turn three. At that point, race trailers utilizing the outside pit will turn right, while infield traffic will continue to go straight. Read more »

Pit Parking: This season the parking in the pit area will be reorganized, to allow for better sightlines of the track for the fans. The current layout of parking has grown outdated as the racers rigs have continued to get bigger and taller, blocking parts of the track for the fans.

A new pit area, outside of turn four has been constructed for the Late Models & Late Model Sportsman to use. Parking in the infield will now be limited to Mod, PS, SL & 4C. Those trailers remaining in the infield will be parking on the frontstretch side, while the backstretch side will be used as a hot pit area for the Late Models. Read more »

With the 2017 Bedford Speedway racing season in the books, work has begun preparing for the 2018 season. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported racing at the Bedford Speedway this year. The positive response from racers and fans throughout the season has been absolutely amazing, and it is very much appreciated. We would also like to send a special thank you to the Bedford County Agricultural Society for providing us with a fantastic facility to race at. While weather was a constant problem this year, the speedway was still able to complete 22 shows this season.
