A great tradition returns to the Fairgrounds this week as the annual celebration of the Bedford Fair commences this Sunday. We welcome you to come enjoy the family friendly fun of the fair all week long.

Mother Nature was not a race fan this weekend at the Bedford Speedway. Rain showers washed out both attempts to run the Milt Miller Tribute Three State Flyers Late Model event Friday night and again on the Sunday evening raindate.

The Miller Tribute will resume this Sunday July 14^th setting up a double header weekend with the originally scheduled racing program on Friday evening July 12^th. The TSF Late Models will be competing in a 35 lap main with $3000 going to the winner. Also racing that night will be the Semi Lates, Modifieds, Pure Stocks and Four Cylinders. Read more »

The Three State Flyers Milt Miller Tribute will resume tomorrow night, Sunday July 7th. The show will resume at the point that it was stopped from Friday night with the fourth late model heat taking the track, followed by Pure Stock and Four Cylinder heats then features for all four divisions. What this means for each division: LATE MODELS- The first three heats are completed and their lineup in the A-main, and B-main is locked in, the fourth heat will be completed Sunday. Any new Late Models that choose to come main tag on the rear of the B-main.  SEMI LATE- The feature line up is locked in from Friday night, any new cars may come Sunday and join the tail of the feature field. PURE STOCK and FOUR CYLINDER- The heat lineup is locked in from Friday, your lineup for heats will be the one that was on the board Friday night. Any new cars are welcome to come and tag on the rear of the heats. Gates will open at 4:00, warmups at 6:00 and the late model 4th heat will begin at 6:30. Rainchecks from this Friday are GOOD for this Sundays show, for those without a raincheck general admission will be $18, kids 12 and under free and pits $28.

At just nineteen years of age, first year URC driver Brian Carber of Pipersville, PA continues to lead the Rislone URC Sprint Series point chase.  Carber moved into 360 sprint car racing this season after enjoying much success in the 305 sprints.  In 2012, Carber won four 305 sprint feature events and along the way, collected thirteen top five finishes and sixteen top ten finishes with his 305 sprinter.      During the season he also competed in some 600 micro sprint events where he won two features and gathered twenty-three top five finishes.      Read more »

Coming Saturday Night June 22nd will be the “Night of Fire and Destruction” Monster Truck Show. Featuring Monster Trucks “Toxic”, “Instigator”, “Towasaurus” & “Monstermedic”. Plus the Mopar 1 ride along Monster Truck offering rides. The show will also feature Quad Warz, Motorcycle Stunts by Lou “Rocket” Ray and motorcycle long jumper Doug Danger. Show begins at 7PM with Monster Truck rides before and after the show and a Pit party after the show. The 2013 race season has gotten off to a fantastic start at the Fairgrounds with exciting racing and a full pit area at each event so far. Late Model point leader Matt Parks claimed a win in the first two shows with Justin Kann and Steve Campbell also taking main event wins.

The speedway will celebrate the Memorial Day Holiday with an exciting two race weekend planned. On Friday May 24^th the holiday weekend kicks off with a special Late Model Sportsman 25 lap feature with $1000 to the winner. That night will also mark the first appearance of the PA Vintage Dirt Modifieds. The following Monday, Memorial Day, the Three State Flyers Late Models will take the track for the “Johnny Grum Tribute” The Late Models will be racing 35 laps with $3000 going to the winner. We would like to thank the Modifieds that have come out to support us the first few weeks of the season. We look forward to the division growing and prospering in the future. In appreciation of the support we will be raising the purse for spots 2-10 beginning with the next Modified event. As the division grows we plan on additional increases in both laps and purse. In addition the Modifieds will be a part of our two day Fall Fest program in September. We are still working on the final details but they will have the opportunity to have a big end of the year show as part of that weekends festiveness.
