Following some last lap excitement, Gunnar Walls took the checkered flag on Friday at Bedford during the 20-lap Limited Late Model Feature. In other action, Kyle Deneen won the Semi Late feature and Matthew Duvall took home the SCDRA Northeast victory.

It took almost the entire distance and some last lap drama, but Gunnar Walls hung on and emerged victorious in the Limited Late Model event. Devin Weyandt started on the pole and led the early laps opening an early gap over the field. As the laps wound down, the groove Weyandt had discovered began to change, allowing Gunnar Walls and TJ DeHaven to seize an advantage and gain some distance. With the finish line in sight, Weyandt brushed the wall and slowed, and Walls passed for a dramatic win. Walls was followed by Devin Weyandt, TJ DeHaven, Kyle Lear and Brad Benton. Read more »

Trever Feathers and Josh Spicer were the big winners Friday night at Bedford
Speedway. Feathers got the victory in the 25 lap Late Model feature: Spicer earning the win in the 20 lap inaugural 2026 305 Sprint event at the track. A surprise April shower caused the 15 lap Semi Late feature to be cut short putting Kyle Weyant on the stage for his first 2026 win. Read more »

Bedford Speedway returned to Friday night racing this week, with a full racing program headlined by the Super Late Models. Matt Sponaugle claimed the victory with a late race pass to claim his 10^th Bedford Super Late victory. In other action Lane Snook won the Late Model Sportsman main, Garrett Keifer was the Semi Late winner, Charlie Clise won the Pure Stocks and Tom Brady won the Four Cylinder nightcap.

Shawn Shoemaker was the initial Late Model winner from his outside front row start, running away while the field fought behind him. Tim Smith moved to second, being chased by Sponaugle from his sixth starting position. Read more »
