BEDFORD, PA – The Three State Flyer Series was in Bedford Friday night for the final race of the season, and Jason Covert picked up his third win of the season at the historic speedway. The win was also his third win of the season in the series. Matt Sponaugle picked up his second win of the season in the Limited Late Model division, and Bill Henney won his third race of the season in the Street Stocks. Rick Potter won his first race in the Hobby Stock division since 2002, and Robert Pluta won his first career win at Bedford in the 4 Cylinder division. Read more »

BEDFORD, PA – It was the Bedford/Roaring Knob shootout for Super Late Models at the Bedford Speedway Friday night, and Derek Byler became the first driver to reach three wins this season in the division. Tim Smith, Jr. earned his first win of the season in the Limited Late Models, and Jim Sayler endured for an emotional Street Stock feature win. UNGLERT WINS CAREER URC FIRST AT BEDFORD

BEDFORD, PA – The URC Sprint Cars made their historic annual visit to Bedford Speedway Friday night. The URC Sprints have been making non-consecutive appearances at Bedford since 1956. Bill Unglert won his first ever URC feature event in front of a large crowd. Jason Covert won the $2,000 to win Super Late Model feature, Bill Henney won a wild one in the Street Stocks, and Travis Group took the Hobby Stock feature event. BEDFORD, PA – It was the Bedford/Cumberland shootout Friday night at the Bedford Speedway, and Matt Parks made Friday the 13th lucky by winning the Super Late Model main event. Robbie Black won his 2nd feature event in the Limited Late Models, and Jim Sayler took home the checkers in the Street Stocks. BEDFORD, PA – The Bedford Speedway had it’s Koontz/Beamer Memorial Fair race Friday night. A large crowd was on hand to witness Greg Fetters take his first win of the season in the Super Late Models. Mike Altobelli, Jr. won his first of the season in the Limited Late Models, and Brian Duffy won his fifth of the season in the Street Stocks. BEDFORD, PA – Bedford Speedway hosted the 2nd night of the Pennsylvania Posse Speedweek for sprint cars on Sunday night. Western PA driver Ed Lynch, Jr. won his career first at Bedford in the 30 lap main event over a stellar field of sprint car drivers. BEDFORD, PA – With summer approaching next week the racing action is getting hot at the speedway. Fans enjoyed an action packed night with Scott Haus winning his first feature of the year in the late models here at Bedford, closely followed by the “flying school teacher” Jack Pencil. Rick Singleton, of Hunnington Pa., took the checkered flag in the limited late models with a commanding lead over Matt Sponaule, and Brian Duffy returned to victory lane in the street stocks with a impressive victory over Dave Brown, Bill Henney, and Mike Desch. Two previous track champions, as well as previous feature winners, won features in their respective divisions, Charlie Walter in the Hobby Stocks and Mike Lauffer in the 4-Cylinders. Read more »
